The situation:

The rebuilt Iranian Navy has been conducting anti-shipping drills for
the last several weeks. Saudi, and Kuwaiti intelligence has discovered Iran's
plans to use it's newly acquired Kilo subs, based at Chah Bahar to mine the
Straits of Hormuz, as a prelude to offensive actions against merchant shipping

Saudi Arabia has passed this intelligence on to the US, and the US has
decided to take preemptive action. Two carrier Groups in the Indian Ocean have
gained air superiority of the gulf, and a ASW task force has been sent up into
the gulf to locate and destroy all of the Kilo subs, before they can reach the
straits, and lay their mines.

{***************************************************************************
This scenario covers the ASW aspect of the situation. It is meant to show
how difficult, or easy a determined ASW task force can destroy several Diesel
Subs, operating in the confined waters of the gulf.
Please send me some feed back on what you thought of this scenario, and/
or alternate ASW task forces. (perhaps a French, British, or even
a multi-national force)
I have tried to include variable starting points for each unit, and
there is a chance there will be 4, or even 5 kilo subs on the red side.
